Place Your Arms at a Right Angle
Your arms should be relaxed at your side, in a right angle reaching out to your keyboard. This means that your keyboard should be at the right height to make this happen. Keep your wrists straight, and your arms should be supported, by arm rests or something similar. If they aren’t, your neck and shoulder muscles will strain!
Take breaks to keep yourself at attention and to give your body some energy. Do you know that by having little breaks, it helps to combat fatigue. When you take a break for 5 minutes, your energy will be regain and you’ll be more productive after quick rest.
For every 30 minutes, try to look away from your computer for several seconds. If you work too long without resting your eyes, it will lead to difficulty focusing, headaches, eye discomfort, blurred vision, dry eyes, and itchy eyes. This happens because looking at a screen for an extended period of time causes you to blink less, which deprives your eyes of moisture.
Get a Quality Chair & Desk
A good chair should allow the users to sit up without their own realization. It should support the lower back. It should not strain the users and ensure that it gets comfortable length from the desk. If it doesn’t, it’s time to consider on investing a good ergonomic chair.
